The new-gen Hyundai Verna is set to launch in the Indian market Tomorrow. We already have many details available about the sedan with us, thanks to the multiple official teasers and leaked spy shots.
HMIL has teased its new-gen Verna in a series of images online, and the sedan will come with a full-width LED DRL setup up front and a sleeker design at the rear end. It will also have a free-standing dual-screen system that houses the touchscreen infotainment unit and the fully digital instrument cluster.
In addition, the upcoming Verna will be offered several segment-leading features, including a wireless charging pad and a new two-spoke multi-function steering wheel that sports a more premium design. It will also be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for the first time in its segment.
Interiors
The 2023 Hyundai Verna will come with a spacious and premium cabin, which is expected to be much larger than the current model. In addition, it will feature a sunroof to give it a more upscale look and will also come with premium materials.
Exteriors
The new-gen Hyundai Verna will be offered in various colors, including the brand’s signature Abyss Black and Atlas White. It will also be available in Tellurian Brown, a new color option for the Verna.
It will be based on Hyundai’s new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language and get a Parametric Jewel grille. This is similar to the one seen on Tucson SUV and will incorporate design cues from larger sedans like Elantra.
The front bumper will have a square module that houses radars and sensors for ADAS tech. The car will also feature 3D textures for the exterior panels and an H-shaped taillamp design.
The new-gen Verna will be available in various engines with naturally aspirated and turbocharged options. The former will produce 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque. It will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, while the latter will come paired with either a CVT or a seven-speed DCT gearbox. Depending on the variants, it will be priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 18 lakh. It will compete with the facelifted Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.
